I will make the effort to be there. The stadium will probably be worth the trip itself. As you know, our fan base will always have a warm spot for your head coach. :) He's a good coach that never really got the support he earned at Auburn. Plus he is a good math student, each year he would count for us as he got off the bus.:milesmic:

Willis is the LB coach from AU that spent a year away from home. James' biggest impact will be in recruiting, players love him. Dunn is one of the best DL coaches in the business. He is in an off field spot with CTT right now, but you can bet he will have an influence.

I haven't been out yet, but that will change soon.

I'm glad you both explained what a saddle tramp is...and I'm relieved...for a minute there, I was waiting for a CajunSensation one liner about the rump riders.

To, momentarily, completely hijack this thread...I'm married to a Trudy and this is my all time favorite Charlie Daniels song. It is about a cajun boy in Texas so it's not completely irrelevant to the discussion.

    Carry on....

Ah I had my coaches mixed up there. If you didn't read the articles on ESPN about Tech, you should. They are actually pretty good. I have been wanting to go to the scrimmages, but class, work , and Saddle Tramps has impeded my viewings. I'll definitely be at the spring game though, its going to be a complete change from Leach's games. I am looking forward to the change

I read them and they were good. I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I saw Morales said "Yes" today. Should be a good guard in a few years, he has the frame.

One thing, TSO talked about being tough, CTT has put together some defenses that were just brutal. Clean, but.... In fact, one LSU/AU game was the most physical clean game I ever saw. Both teams brought it and neither would lay down. A WOW game.

I really like how we are getting commits already, when CTT hasn't coached a game at Tech yet, its promising. I love me some offense, but watching a good D is what I really enjoy, it is just impressive. The Sunday that we play SMU can't come soon enough for me. Are you going to be there?

I don't think Glen Dorsey would share your opinion about "clean" unless you were talking about clean chopblocks.

That wasn't the game I was referring to, but my position on Chaz is well documented. I understand your position, but please remember, I am particularly sensitive about the issue as one of my 2 best friends had his career ended by a Penn State chop block. (Thus my ongoing hatred for JoPa.) Chaz did chop Dorsey, that I don't argue.
