I have a question about Fan Day this Saturday. Are you allowed to bring a personal item like a magazine or football for them to sign or are you only allowed to get signatures on the material they supply there? Anybody have any idea? Looking forward to this season...GO TIGERS!!!
We bring our football and I see people with helmets and stuff. I think it is ok as long as you don't bring a laundry basket full of stuff and hold up the line.
I just got back from fan day. It wasn't fun at all. I got in the line for the defensive line at 2:45, and I didn't make it through the whole line. The people behind me got there at 2:50 and didn't get one single autograph. A big problem was people bringing multiple items to sign.
Sorry to hear that...I went strictly to get CLM's signature on my 2007 Sports Illistrated BCS issue. Stood in line for two hours but it was worth it to shake his hand and wish him luck this season. Guy is a class act in my book...he seemed very tired but was very cordial and all smiles signing and taking pictures with fans and their kids.
Sorry to hear that. We were there and got D-line and Offensive backs. We were towards the front for the D-line (about 25 back) and waaaaay at the end for the O-backs. We had a lot of fun. Even had SW and Blue cracking up at the table over a good looking young lady in line. I did notice the workers were pretty good about spotting multiple items and notifying people about the rules. It was slow but we got through. CajunKid got a pic with Sam, but I made sure I was ready and did not slow up anyone. Can't say I saw every one do that. If you want to enjoy yourself, you have to get your mind right, you will have to wait and at most you may get two lines of signatures. I have never been able to do more. Last year we got QB's and DB's.
I got to the pmac at 1230 to get in line. there were only about 30 people in front of me in line. we got in at 3 and stood in the DL line for another hour, but at least it was inside. We got the DL, LB and Special teams autos. The only people that were allowed to have multiple items signed were memorabilia store owners. But, i'm sure a few clowns got more than one signed. sucks that some people can't seem to follow the rules. It's like the rules are for the other people there...not them.
You must have been right behind me Richdog I had about 20-25 people in front of me. We also got there about noon and got in line.
