not really. contracts mean nothing. ask louisville and bobby petrino. he signed with the falcons before the ink had dried on his previous contract. until michigan hires another coach, the door is still wide open.
...anyone that has seen the rampant penalities, game planning, and close calls against inferior teams cannot want this man at the helm when we don't have an overriding talent advantage.
not true. part of me feels that way to some extent but I asked myself some time ago. would I rather have a head coach who I felt was much more football savvy yet lost more games? Or would I want a guy who wins 11-12 games a year and makes me feel like i was smarter than him; even though Im not. Just win baby. everything else is irrelevant. until you realize that, you're missing the big picture...and all the fun. step away from the leslie blowup doll. nope that's just reality. :milesmic: :milesmic:
Allow me to make an introduction; The Law of Averages meet Tirk, Tirk the Law of Averages. The "fun" ended early this year...the rest has been nail-biting exhilaration, mixed with anguish, as underdogs played us to the last quarter or seconds. Everybody has simply been swept away by the WV upset... After LSU lost to Arkansas, this board was filled with people offering to help Miles pack and drive him to Michigan. Now, it seems like everyone loves him even more. The only thing Miles did to change the minds of these individuals is beat a Tennessee team that wasn't even as good as Arkansas. So let me make sure I get this: LSU loses to Arkansas - "Leave Les. I will help you pack!" LSU beats Tennessee, Oklahoma beats Mizzou, Pitt beats WV, thus allowing LSU to get back into the title game - "We love you Les, thanks for staying" I just wanted to know, did all the Miles haters leave the board, or did Les win them over finally, or are those fans just so happy that the Tigers are in the BCS title game they would love whoever is at the helm?
