From the Advocate 1/3: Jean-Francois update On Thursday, ESPN college football reporter Joe Schad wrote that LSU junior Ricky Jean-Francois plans to enter the NFL draft. LSU disputed the report. “We talked to him last night,” sports information director Michael Bonnette said Friday, “and there was nothing to it. I don’t know where they got that information.” Bonnette said Jean-Francois, a defensive tackle, has not decided whether to return for his senior season.
Thanks for the post. After the year he had maybe he should stay and hopefully improve his draft position.
Tygrr, you are wrong and Tirk is right. I use a company computer so the firewall curtails what I can view so I depend on the Tirk.
Well, The SID at LSU should have waited to deny RJF's entry to the NFL untill after the Army all American game. William Campbell just committed to Michigan. Whether, in fact, the news about RJF coming oficially now from the LSU athletic department had anything to do with Campbell's decision or not. The SID at LSU ought to read this forum and follow LSU recruiting like the rest of us. The timing of this announcement is ATROCIOUS and someone at LSU needs to speak to the SID !!!!
It had nothing to do with it. The SID isn't going to base his actions on some game a kid that is going to commit to Michigan is playing.
