I think too little credit is being given to the two defenses that were absolutely amazing. Are the qb's amazing pro quality qbs? No they aren't, but those two defenses are pro quality defenses. Even beat the crap out of the JV squad when you were in high school? Yeah, same thing.
of course its mostly attributed to the defenses. these guys have never faced anything close to what they saw saturday. their performance was to be expected to some extent. but i was expecting at least a couple tds to be scored but was kinda glad no one did. i thought it was a great game. how many guys on both these defensive rosters will be playing on sunday? plenty.
To be fair to your point, I only saw 3 plays that I think should have been td plays. #1 There was a Trent Richardson run early that he had everyone beat and TM7 came from across the field to shove him out of bounds (I'm not sure how everyone beating up on TM forgets that he saved us 7 points) #2 RS's catch should have been a touchdown if JJ had been on target, unfortunately we got 3 out of it. #3 Reid's interception is a touchdown if Reid isn't AMAZING. Play of the game, of the season for us there.
Oh yeah definitely. I gotta eat some crow myself, I did not think Bama was as good as they are. They really are a mirror (dark mirror) of ourselves.

While it's not the same as Sportscenter showing it all night, most of the Bama fans are upset with Saban not calling time out before our last punt and taking some shots. Well, to be fair, they're upset about some other things he did, too. GEAUX TIGERS
we had all our timeouts and their qb was sucking so I can see him not wanting to go 3 and out and punting from the 20 or a pick from mccarron. I would rather play for the win either way however and do not like settling for OT. play to win and take your chances especially when your fg kicker has proven he wasnt up for the task.
