We had at least one but we got to the QB on that play (I think it was the last 4th down play). Barrow just stood in the middle of the field while the FL receiver cut across in front of him wide open in the deep flat.

Possible there was another time or two but we never saw it.

But ultimately light years better than Georgia or even MSU.

The improvement on defense has been welcomed, but I still think there is room to grow before we roll into Tuscaloosa or face Jenny Fartball.

I think we all would agree with that, we need to keep improving before we go into Oxford too. We saw how good the OM offense can be last year in Tiger Stadium. Hopefully we keep maturing and growing in practice while keeping the intensity level very high.

Ole Miss will be a good test for the defense, on the road.

They can put up plenty of points if you play poorly (see A&M game). They can also be stopped if you play great defense (see Alabama game).

Agreed, Ole Miss is a very good guage. They have the ability to spread you out with a solid WR corps so our DBs will be tested. They have an excellent scat back whole will test the LBs. We dont need to see the '11 D, we just need more consistent stops and this team can go a long way.

That other qb for Ole Miss is the X Factor. I wonder how Chavis game plans for him.

Bet he's looking at the a&m / ole miss now, we can do a better job than a&m. If you saw that game last night, om defense took a beating. Don't be shocked to see LSU do some of the same, run the ball down their throats. Passing at will when needed.

    LSU big, Ole Miss small.

On that play where the UF guy was wide open over the middle, the pressure forced Murphy to go elsewhere. It's amazing what pressure can do.

Gurley played in the game against us, who do you think put him out? Since then, they are missing numerous WRs, both RBs and a few others... UGA is decimated right now.
