LSU's defense played very well. The DL put a lot of pressure on the Fla QB. There were no real blown coverages. Florida had no big plays that gained lots of yardage. coverage was good. The problems with LSU's defense so far this season were coaching and execution ones....not lack of athletic talent ones.

    And Chief solved those problems.

    Welcome back defense !!!!

They are back but not near 11 form. FU had a green QB that got sloppy under pressure.

That's a great stat. I'm happy with the way the D played UF. UF is mediocre on offense but LSU made them looking even more pedestrian. I wish the Offense could've supported them a little more with additional points though. UF has a highly ranked offense but those numbers are inflated against weak competition, IMO. But the D looked much better. God job guys.

The Mizzou upset of UGA really eats at me though. I don't care if they were missing an RB and WR's, they were missing Gurley in our game. We shouldn't have been torched like that on our D.

D is getting better, Chief is good (not perfect), with our O and our D coming on, we could make a run. And, knock on wood, I'm super impressed with Les.

Well to be fair he didn't have a chance on many of his dropbacks. Zach Mettenberger would have suffered the same fate if he were QB of Florida. Actually worse, because he isn't mobile.
