I fear we don't have the relief pitching for three more wins . . . and just when our bats are starting to connect.
Probably. Because he pitched 2 gems in the regionals. He had a shitty game after his meltdown. It happens. Doesn't make him a shitty pitcher or fielder. Of course he could be a headcase from here out.
True, going into the losers bracket definitely hurts as does Poche not making it far into the first game. However when you lose the first game, just battling back to get a couple wins is a big accomplishment. Right now I just want one more win.
We got arms for days. Reynolds bugg person cartwright Newman Godfrey stallings Norman. It's the one thing that we got. Middle relief and closers like no other. Thats not even counting Bain.
Can anybody say Steve Sax? Chuck Knobloch? And who was that Cardinals pitcher who couldn't stop pitching into the 3rd row seats who came back a couple of years later as a position player?
Yes, I will be alright, and I want more than just another win. Lange is great and it worked out. Put LeBron out to win game 2 and then not have him for the rest of the series is what you gave me.
Yep became an outfielder and could hit the ball. Shit what was his name. If Lasalle knows he will remember. And I don't smoke weed. He wore number 66. ankiel. Rick ankiel.
So what would you have CPM do? They won. Do they win if somebody else pitches? Maybe, maybe not. But if the Tigers didn't win today there is no rest of the series. Lange never pitches. Hell, I wish it was like softball where you could be OK with just one or two pitchers but baseball doesn't work that way. Now if LSU had scored 10 runs in the first inning I might substitute another pitcher and save Lange. But they didn't.
If Vandy loses: Bain vs Vandy, then Lange vs TCU? Would it be too soon to see Lange again if that sequence comes to fruition?
