Well, who says that he didn't, Steve? Perhaps, I'm not being clear. My objection is blaming Tommy Moffit and his Strength and Conditioning staff for a medical issue that is not his job. This is the LSU Athletic Training Staff at LSU. This department is run by Jack Marucci. If there was a issue with an injury, it is on Marucci. Perhaps he has his popular Marucci Sports Wood and Aluminum Baseball Bats Company on his mind too much. But I don't know, I'm joking. If it is an issue about being medically certified to play, it is on LSU chief team physician Jeff Burnham. "Athletic Training is an allied medical profession. Athletic trainers supervise and administer the services of prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of injuries incurred by athletes." Tommy Moffit and LSU Strength and Conditioning are these guys: "A strength and conditioning coach's responsibilites are: make sure all players are supervised in the weight room, assist athletic trainer with rehabilitation of athletes, maintain thorough and accurate records of an athletes' workout, keep athletes health throughout the season by teaching proper lifting techniques and preventative and corrective exercises."
Just to add I heard something may have happened while training at the D1 Training Facility in Tennessee. Can't say for sure given it came from a source I do not have much experience with. Also heard his knee might not be the reason he wasn't drafted but another unexpected health issue. All I can do is label what I heard as rumor at this point though.
You know, we often forget that players can have non-football health issues just like you and me. I remember we had a player leave the team a few years ago because of Crohn's Disease, I think. I hope Ciron will be fine.
It would make sense too because if it was just a knee injury I wouldn't expect there to be no information whatsoever out there. Black and no one affiliated with him has mentioned a thing. Black said after the draft that he would have a formal announcement on his status but that was months ago and nothing so far. Plus you don't usually see someone with supposed chronic knee problems only missing one snap his entire college career.
Not that I would violate the user agreement by calling anyone names but i would like to point out that rather thdan call someone "b!tch" i prefer to use the more commonly understood "sum" or more formal "son of a" prefix to complete the expression. that is all
My reference was that of a female dog however, I value you suggestion such that I shall keep it noted for future use. Thank you sir and drinks are on me.
