    Porter and McCarthy are by far our most indispensable coaches regarding their effects on recruiting.

    Lane, Peveto and especially Mallory could be fired without much trepidation. We just have to make sure we transition Peveto's guys to one of the other coaches (Henson?).

    What's the * denote? Are those the ifies? And say this rumor is true and we lose 5 coaches, aqnd Porter/McCarthy are included... how does that fare for us?
    I would think as I said in another thread, that these guys coming in would kill for the chance to play for a stud DC like Chavis... some of these guys are defensive bruisers that just wanna hit and pop somebody.

    It is not that simple since we are already recruiting guys in the 2010 class. Plus the coaches recruits are assigned to them based on their locations and giving them to other coaches is not the easiest process in the world. Especially when they are on the road in the other parts of the southeast for the next two months.


    Maybe this is the solution. ;)

    Since its a loooong time for the bowl game, LSU has plenty of time to makeup with some recruits. I don't think this is a dead period, correct?
