it obviously depends on how you say it. considering you said you were talking smack....

i was just commenting that visitors that come here and talk smack dont get a warm welcome so i can see why one of us would not get a warm welcome for the same.

im not gonna keep hijacking this thread. im done.

    yeppers.

    What a fitting end, huh?

Nola inserted into the lineup providing solid defense turned this season around for LSU.

Yeah, I'd love to see us blow them away two straight. Geauxrilla ball. Awesome pitching. Hammer the leather, double plays, perfect game.

But I'm prepared for the let-down game, the stub-your-toe game, the came-out-flat-game, the overconfident game.

Champions gotta be prepared to win either path. Beat up up easy-- or get beat bad and then beat em' up anyway.

You and me both, babe. UT is scrappy and lucky, and that worries me. BUT, at the same time, I'm looking forward to the series and feel relatively calm...just hope we play well and that the guys represent LSU and the SEC well, as I know they will.

UT is definitely scrappy. Let's hope our Tigers play up to par and there isn't a team in the nation that has a shot at beating us twice. It's alot like UNC in the basketball tournament.. we shouldn't have challenged them.. but we did. That's what scares me.. but that being said..

The Texas magic dies out in 2. I think we'll struggle at the plate a bit in game 1.. but game 2 will be bloody.

I'm not a fan of same oppenets BUT

When we played the super regional with Rice. The owls didn't impress me and they beat texas both times they played them this season.

Baseball is a strange game. Nicholls beat us pitching their scrubs for a good part of the game. I'm confident but not cocky.

Throw in the multiple walks for runs agains USM. Throw in the fact they
commit 3 errors against ASU and still win. Throw in the fact they were shown all the love in the world with #1 seed while being ranked 5th
    in every poll.

i agree about their defense. their offense was so good against Arky that the defensive effort was a little underappreciated. good pitching, solid D, and offense top to bottom = CWS championship in my view!
