being in oklahoma, i hate texass and their obnoxious fans as much as anyone. but if one of their fans came here and did that we'd likely be all over em.

I know Austin Wood pitched 12.3 without giving up a hit vs BC. Say what you will about BC being weak competition, but that's an unbelievable accomplishment no matter who it's against. But I think he pitched last night, so I guess we wouldn't see him until at least Tuesday.

Boy, it's a good thing this phenomenal Texas team was able to wipe the field with USM. I mean, all those runs scored on all those hits. Good thing they have luck

I respect your caution, but disagree that TXs' bracket was tougher. I think UVA and Arky could have beat either ASU or USM, easily. As pointed out, Texas barely squeaked by in multiple games in superregional and CWS. Their talent and coaching got them through it, but LSU is in a zone right now.

Texas pitching is their strength, and they play a good, but not great, balanced attack of small ball.

Small ball won't win against this LSU pitching staff.

You need the 3 run bomb to have a shot.

LSU is playing the best defense of any team in the nation right now and just not making mental errors either.

Both Coleman and Ranaudo can get the strikeout with a man at 3rd and less than 2 outs. It will be extremely difficult for Texas to scratch out runs, if that's what they plan to do.

I got LSU 8-1 in the opener and 5-4 in 10 innings in game 2.

Nola with a walk off homer to win the championship.

for saying their team would win?
I don't think anyone has been banned for saying "we're gonna win."

you consider that smack talk? "we're gonna win."

i seem to remember the virginia fans coming here and saying the same thing.
