That's why they play the games, nothing is guaranteed. However I like the Tigers chances against a Texas team that probably should have gone home sooner.

Some in the 25th inning? I'm aware of one against BC. When were the others?

Also, I haven't noticed any "Beware Longhorns" articles in The Advocate. IMO, columnists who write these types of stories are usually trying to convince themselves of the things they write.....i.e., that guy's worried.

    i do too, BUT....

i dont know if y'all have noticed this but im a bit superstitious. the luck texass is having is a bit worrisome. as twisted pointed out they probably should have gone home sooner. a few times. but they always manage to win, sometimes by having the game handed to them. that kind of luck worries my superstitious side.

Help me out here. Much has been made about the 25-inning game over the last two weeks. Here's my question...

Would you have even been close to setting the record for the longest game ever if you would have been able to score a single run during the 22 straight innings you failed to score against POWERHOUSE Boston College?

To me, that's the real story. It's not that you won an epic pitching duel against a top rated team. It's all about the fact that the offense sucked so bad that B.C. was able to shut them down for about five hours.

The big one run victory over Army is also one for the ages. :dis:

I completely agree. Texas is an average team that is scrappy and has had some good luck. That luck ends soon.

Texas, to me is very similar to Arkansas. They are by no means a great team, but they play tough. The guys are hard to score on, and they are hard to score against. I still like our chances.
