I saw this earlier today. Considering the amount of time the defense was on the field, it makes sense.

Yeah, but the offense never broke a sweat.

That's funny, I didn't see a single player quote actually saying the reason they lost to UF was because of the heat.

It was probably really humid in Florida . . . so why were they using those mist-blowing fans like it was Arizona?

This is why we lost. Florida was hungry, we weren't.

I believe this was the defense not saying the truth -- we wore down not because of heat and humidity but because our offense couldn't go more than 3 plays before turning the ball back over to the Gators.

    Why did we lose?

Because fatigue set in on the defense not because of the weather but because Florida had the ball for almost 40 minutes.

I don't care how good your defense and conditioning is. You play for 40 minutes and you're going to be worn down.

Florida beat LSU at its own game. Better special teams, no passing game, a running game that eventually took control of the opposition, and enough defense to keep the game close so that you're able to take over late.

And after that blueprint, the ole ball coach will run, run,run with plenty of short passes and a whole lot of pressure D. LSU will have to execute the same and the one with the most turnovers will go home, sad and mad.
