Why doesn't he mention Kyle Williams who led all D-Linemen in the NFL in tackles? Kevin Mawae is a HOFer and so is Alan Faneca. Glenn Dorsey finished with 50+ tackles again which was in the top 17 of the league and he was playing at DE all season long. Tyson Jackson was a reach. Any other year and he's a second round pick. The Chiefs just made a dumb pick and I don't fault Tyson for taking their money.
+1 on Tyson. By pointing out that Dorsey plays DE, I assume you feel he's not at his true position. I agree, not to mention the fact that by design, linemen in the 3-4 defense are supposed to occupy blockers and free up the linebackers to make plays, so you don't expect great stats from the linemen to begin with.
Jealousy is a biotch. Others just wish they had what we have. Also, I agree the Chiefs have to find a way to blame someone for their woes. Might as well be the institution they have chosen to supply most of their most recent players from.
Funny, lets see....... LSU players that played for the Chiefs. Eddie Kennison - thought Eddie had a great career in KC. Harvey Williams - Ok, he was a bust in KC, but he was behind the Nigerian Nightmare Christian Okoye, and when he was traded to Oakland/Los Angeles he had 2 good seasons. Maybe they are still pissed at Harvey. Mel Branch? Johnny Robinson who is in the Chiefs hall of Fame? Their best receiver Dwayne Bowe? And like i said before, give defensive linemen a few years before you start being critical, and you may want to play them in their correct position. Those Kansas City beat writers are just stupid.
In 10 years with the Chiefs, Carson caught 353 passes for 33 touchdowns while averaging 18.1 yards a catch. His best year was his 4th (1983) when he caught 80 balls for over 1300 yards and 7 TDs. Carlos Carson NFL & AFL Football Statistics | Pro-Football-Reference.com
