Auburn is basically the worst run defense in the country and we still could not run the ball with Charles Scott. And that's with great success in the passing game. We need to switch to a backfield that mimics Florida's Rainey and Demps. Basically a lot more of Holliday and Shepard.
Well that's fine, but that's his NFL future. I am talking about what will give LSU the absolute best chance at winning all of their remaining games this year. I don't think the formula for success includes Charles Scott. We need speed in the backfield since our O-line has no chance at opening up any kind of hole for the slow footed Scott.
2 weeks from now, we can't afford wasting 8 plays for 17 yards against a great Bama D. Well actually it would be 8 plays for -17 yards if you transpose the numbers based on a much better D than Auburn's.
Yep, Scott is not getting it done. We need the small shifty guys to get the touches. If they run a wildcat let Scott be lead block.
I agree. The CS runs up the middle simply don't work. What about KW? I think I only saw him a few times in the game and only touched the ball a couple of times. Don't know why we don't us him more. I rather see him back there than TH.
Didn't see the game tonight, so I don't know how we lined up when RS was in the game. Why not try direct snaps to RS and let him run. Bama seems to be having success with direct snaps to Ingram -- why not give it a try? :geauxtige
