True but unfortunately at the cost of validating their statements that the SEC begins the season with the benefit of inflated rankings.

Oh and I'll take mine med rare. ;)

We can't complain to much LSU only has losing records to 17 teams of the 120 something in FBS... 8 of which are only by 1 game. LSU has UAB on a future schedule and that is one of them. That will allow us to get back to even with them. LSU's run is no pick nick... let's look at KSU miraculous run

1993 - New Mexico St, Western Kentucky (1aa at best at the time), @ Minnesota / UNLV (0 ranked teams)
    1994 - SLU, Rice, Minnesota, @UNLV (0 ranked teams)
1995 - Temple, @ Cincinnati, Akron, Northern Illinois (0 ranked teams)
1996 - Texas Tech, Indiana St., Cincinnati, @ Rice (0 ranked teams)
1997 - @ Northern Illinois, Ohio, Bowling Green (0 ranked teams)
1998 - Indiana St, Northern Illinois, NE Louisiana (0 ranked teams)
1999 - Temple, UTEP, Utah st. (0 ranked teams)
2000 - Iowa (first quality opponent), Louisiana Tech, Ball St., North Texas (0 ranked teams)
2001 - @ USC (2nd quality opponent), New Mexico St, La Tech (0 ranked teams)
2002 - Western Kentucky, ULM, Eastern Illinois, #11 USC (1 ranked team)
2003 - Cal, Troy, McNeese St., UMASS, and then they lost to unranked Marshall

ps. they were ranked #6 when they lost to Marshall

so there you have it 1 ranked team during their run... we sound a whole lot more impressive now in my opinion

It might be back to "Bite me pac 1" after USC lost to Stanford again tonight. It's Oregon. But Oregon doesn't have the depth or the defense to win the crystal this year if they face us or Bama, probably. :)
