We just won an undisputed national championship, we are sitting on the top of the world, and not surprisingly, that means we have a lot of superstar high school kids very interested in coming to play for LSU. A lot of people are talking about how this will be the greatest recruiting class in LSU history, and a lot of people are talking about how we'll have some big commitments at this camp. I'm so excited that I can't sleep.

Sure, Shep is saying that it ain't going to happen, but I hope Miles can pull off the upset when he calls those kids into his office and convinces them to become Tigers.

Hey, don't knock Lufkin. Lufkin is a great little town in the piney woods of East Texas with lots of friendly folk. I actually got lost in Lufkin one time. Well for a short period anyway.

Apparently that is true. It is a bit of a disappointment. I was hoping for one or two commitments.

I don't ecpect commits during the camp but it could happen. Commits usually happen the week or two after camp when the prospects go home and discuss everything with their family, etc...

I must say this is probably the best camp LSU has ever had. I think we'll start seeing a lot more high-profile recruits & scouts attend in future years as LSU has never really used our camps as a great recruiting tool in the past.

Hey Parso, Miles stated that he had 3 committs that would announce when they were ready to. Who do you think the three guys he was talking about are? Davenport has to be one of them. Is he counting Williford or do you think he is talking about two other guys. Rumor is that they are Bell and a big time recruit from Texas. Could it be Loston or Christian Michael? What are our chances of taking another RB in this class?

He said he got a few commits this weekend. Probably can count Williford and Davenport in that.

I would say the possible silent commits would be Bell and Loston. Bell we will know something soon but Loston most likely will be awhile to keep attention off himself.

RB Michael was not at camp at the time Miles made that statement, he was at UF camp. But is Michael has a similar showing he could work his way into an offer. After this weekend we will know more but it would be possible to see the situation changing from Trent Richardson or we are done at RB to TR or CM or we are done at RBs in this class.
