Scratch that because Mom will not let him come unless she is with him. Personally I would rather her here for a visit rather than McFarland. She is the ticket. Her prayer groups meet on Friday nights and she never misses it. Therefore, she does not go to his games either.
I was so hyped when I read this. That doesn't exactly make McFarland sound intimidating (but then again, Reggie White did do those Campbell soup commercials with his mom).

Not coming. Found out more and he got into a heated argument about it with his grandmother and mom and they did not let him go. She wants to come with him and I am thinking she sounds pretty strict and didn't want him to jump in the car with his friends to drive down with no notice. He really wanted to come. And of course OU fans say they are in the lead now because his OU fan grandmother was in on not letting him come.:rofl: I am not joking Btw.
From what you are saying, it sounds like he really wants to come and visit and probably has us in the lead. If or when his mom comes here with him ,that may seal it for us.
I think Les would play well with a religious family oriented mother. Course, Mack Brown would also, he seems like a nice guy.
What plays well for us or at least it should is have you seen the amount of trouble Texas players have been in over the last 5 years. If I remember correctly I was reading an article I think last year or two years ago that like 8 had been arrested.
