Right, I get it. There is one thing missing and its not the willingness to call those plays. I don't care what you call, it will not work if we can't block!
I don't have the answers O and Peetz get paid big money to work with what they have. Better beat them hillbillies this weekend.
Jimbo Mullen Dabo or the guy operating the tilta whirl at the local carnival while he cooks meth would never let an o line become this inferior. Do you realize this season we are having to be thankful that sack of shit # 76 came back?? We agree to disagree perhaps but please —your optimism the next few weeks will be the only thing keeping me away from sharp dangerous objects.
Totally disagree! As painful as it was to watch Nix run like a rabbit until he found someone open, the defense was not the reason we lost. Holding an opponent to 24 pts with the offenses of today is actually pretty good. Initially we had good results with the slants to Boutte until Auburn adjusted to shut them down. Our offense did not adjust to Auburn’s changes. You are not going to win many games when you can only rush for 33 yards. Sorry, but there is no magical fix to our OL problems. We can marginally improve the offense with better play calling and with improved play at QB. Max Johnson has skills (as demonstrated on that great TD pass to Boutte), but is indecisive, and is holding the ball too long. If Brennan is healthy we should make the switch.
It’s pretty obvious the SEC except Alabama and Georgia is a hot mess. It’s them and the twelve dwarfs. We should be up there with them. There’s no excusing O for the position we’re in today. He If he doesn’t pull out of the spin in the next couple of games (I doubt he will) I would cut him before the end of the season and see what Woodward can do.
Brennan will stick his arm in his dad’s bass boat propeller blade before he gets behind this o line vs the Crimson Sista humpers
IMO, Scott Long nailed it his analysis: "Basically, the loss boiled down to this: LSU’s lack of run game, sorry tackling, poor offensive line play, and ineffective red zone offense were too much to overcome. And it didn’t help that there were very few in-game adjustments, some questionable personnel decisions, and inexplicable clock management which resulted in LSU using four of its five timeouts to prevent delay of game penalties."
What's the point of calling for O's head. He'll never get fired, heritage and all. One of us. He'll be allowed to collect more millions & leave on his own terms. I'm getting used to him losing games. One guy on here saying there are no savior coaches. Doubt anyone wants that, just a proven coach with a working knowledge of football would have been nice, but oh well
