We are at a dangerous crossroads. We make a mistake either keeping O or firing O could be catastrophic for us. Look I know everyone thinks I am a sunshine pumper but that's not the case. For me it's still just too early to fire O we haven't seen enough. Kentucky will be it for me because I don't care how good they have become it's still Ken "fricking" tucky. A close loss to Auburn does not convince me because it's always been a close game. Don't get me wrong I was not happy with many things last night but I bet the Auburn fans felt the same.

See what I post after the Kentucky game next weekend on my opinions of O this year as a head coach.

It definitely happens to coaches, crashing and burning after losing a talent that makes the coach look better than they actually are. Burrow with O. Winston with Jimbo, Favre with Hallman, even.

Maybe Peetz will become an offensive wizard. But the OC position for LSU is not an on the job learning experience. Our play calling is odd, we don't seem to make adjustments or really have a plan, and the disorganization is ridiculous.

It's true we have a history of tough games with AU, but I have a hard time thinking that AU team was one of their good squads. They were a bad team, as are we. It ultimately came down to the team that wanted it the most...and it wasn't us.

They are all awful, but Shanahan is a next level of suckiness.

We barely attempted to run, particularly with Kiner. I’d try some runs challenging the edge, some gut runs, enough runs so it may pay off in 4th Q. Some runs with Nuss with the option to throw occasionally (see Taysom Hill). Peetz gave up before he started.

Sometimes you just know when you are beat. Would have been the equivalent of bunting in the bottom of the 9th down by 7 runs, a run, any kind of run was wasting a down.

The play calling in the red zone last night was sub par. Once again this is on O. My rope for O is getting shorter. Kentucky or bust for me.

May as well start the search now because we aren't beating them in their yard. Hell we may not score!

I don't like a 2 QB system but this year might be an exception. With the poor OL we need something different. Nuss with options now and then a wildcat scheme something damm it. Run the damm wing t the veer just change something up.
