So we beat Moo who beat A&M and if we beat Kentucky who beat Florida O should be fired? Wouldn't you want to at least wait till we play Ole Miss (who we beat last year with a freshman QB? Why is O thought to be a worse coach than Jimbo, Kiffin or Mullins at this point?
I agree with this. I’ve been yelling loudly about not understanding why these other coaches, particularly Jimbo, are allowed to flounder the way they do. That said, the O issue started with last year. Just seems to have been little progress.
I’m fine with firing now. Wins against UK, OM, and aTM aren’t fireable offenses, but the 5-year OL exodus and the losses to UCLA and AU are. Hiring coordinators who are figuring it out coupled with not having a clue yourself is fireable. The clock management is fireable. Not knowing the ball was placed on the wrong 45 is fireable.
What would you have him do? Don't just say "be creative" they were playing a 3 man front and we still couldn't run the ball. I'd love to know what sort of sorcery you expected
