Well let's hire Josey Culotta as coach. The day I start depending on the opinions of the Culotta's of the world to decide if my coach is good is the day give up watching football. I will let The Dude answer Culotta
Well Jones didn't do much to adjust to how we rushed Nix last night. We over pursed Nix and we didn't fix it during the game. Jones did great against Moo but not last night.
We all know our O Line is sub par. That has nothing to do with why we didn't throw more to Boutte as you thought we should. The defense never adjusted to Nix's scrambling that was inexcusable how we never adjusted. On offense I was disapointed that we were not more creative in the red zone. All on O so not "sunshine pumping" as you say just being pragmatic. Who's doing a worse job of coaching Jimbo or O? Mullins or O? Debo or O? I would really like your opinion.
Nix suddenly turning into Johnny Manziel was totally unexpected. I don't know what adjustments you're supposed to make that allow you to make a guy who refuses to go down, suddenly go down. What concerns me more is that going into this game we had the #1 red zone offense in the country, and the #98 red zone defense in the country forced us to settle for field goals 3 times, twice inside the 10 yard line. Concerns me that at times in the 4th quarter, when we were protecting a lead and should have been trying to burn clock, we continued to throw the ball, even when Auburn occasionally dropped 9 in coverage! Auburn should never have been in position to go on a game winning drive late in the game. That's on the offense not taking care of its business.
Defense lost the game and offense didn't help either. Defense let Auburn convert FOUR 4Th DOWNS, FOUR! YES FOUR! Those costs us 10 points.
