Yeah, that's the story on his current contract. But who hired "Meatball" at DL? Bama had some dude named Karl Dunbar at DL, but hear he's leaving for the NFL again. Will Meatball be given an interview? So we have Co-Defensive Back coordinators.
BREAKING: LSU hires Jeff Fisher as a consultant! Just kidding. But wouldn't hiring a mediocre old coach that nobody else wants be pretty on-brand for Baton Rouge right now?
Uhm, Aranda and Corey Raymond have worked with Busch before. Bill Busch was DC at Utah State in 2009 and 2010. Corey was his cornerbacks coach. Busch then was promoted to assistant head coach, special teams coordinator and safeties coach in 2011 and 2012. Dave Aranda worked with him in 2012 as DC at Utah State. Then once again at Wisconsin Busch as safeties coach worked under DC Aranda in 2013 and 2014. By the way, that cornerbacks coach at Utah State was Corey Raymond's first assistant coaching job in college in 2009. It's likely that Busch had a hand in hiring Corey. So .. Corey has worked under DC Aranda the last two years. Corey has worked under Busch as corners coach which he is now going to do under Aranda. Busch coached safeties under DC Aranda before which he will now at LSU greatly interacting with Corey Raymond in the secondary. And Aranda is their defensive coordinator. I would be surprised if this was not a receptive move given Corey will be paid the same, knows the guys, and can focus perhaps more on recruiting corners which we all know is a major, major priority next year along with RB and QB.
I completely trust the defensive side of the football. If Aranda and Raymond both think this dude is the tits he probably is.
It's good to see that you are such an ardent gun rights enthusiast. https://www.thetrace.org/2015/10/oregon-sheriff-molon-labe-sandy-hook/
