Both LSU and Saints had historical, record braking seasons only to see it all go up in excruciating fashion in the 2nd postseason game. Sadly, I will most remember the losses to end the season rather than the seasons themselves. But, such is the difference b/t good seasons and Championship seasons. You'd think as an LSU and, especially, NO Saints fan I'd be used to saying, "there's always next year." It seems the more each win, the harder the losses are on me. I get WAY too emotionally involved. I'm starting to doubt whether or not it's worth it. I fear I'm in too deep, though, and don't have much of a choice now. Feels alot like an addiction.
Sorry Richdog, I couldn't let this pass without a reply. Some of us haven't seen this stat 500 times because some folks have a life and a job. We aren't as fortunate as you being able to sit for that many hours watching a laptop screen. I, for one, thought the thread start was great even though I had seen it.
I hear ya... I feel like I get too emotionally involved, too. The Saints' loss didn't hit me as hard as LSU's though. :geauxtige
I kind of laughed at the Saints losing, but hell by the end of the LSU game I was laughing too, but I think I was certifiable by that point.
I am laughing at myself these days Nick Saban took a big bat and beat me up It took me at week to understand what hit me
