The cigars are a decades old tradition. I've asked before, I'll ask again. How do you see then over confident,?
Go the route of the rest of us here just ignore this dude and taint. It's not worth your time. He still believes Peterson didn't make the pick in bounds. Proof is just an inconvenience for the gumps .. Looks pretty good to me
Trying to get this tread back to it's original topic. I think we win Saturday night. Our defense has been great and even better in the 2nd half, as of late. I think Aranda will figure out how to slow Bama down. Get them in some 3rd and longs and hopefully off the field. Ensminger and staff will do what's needed to protect Etling (as much as possible) and put our playmakers in space. In each of the last 3 games, we've scored a lot of touchdowns on big plays. Now, I'm not saying that we're going to have 3 x 70 yard touchdown plays against Bama.... but I'm betting we break off way more of these plays against them this game than we have in year's past.
I think our OL is the key to the game. If they can open up some holes for #7 & #5 and give #16 time to throw the ball, I think we are in the game with a good chance to win. If the OL gets dominated, so do we.
For the first time in their LSU career these players will have the chance to try to go and match up without feeling handcuffed by the game plan. Mentally that has to mean something. I think they'll play very well. Hope we keep Etling upright if we do we have a good chance. Look for the te to figure prominently in this game. Ours and theirs
Etling won't be dragging himself off the field while the OL looks forlorn and Miles has a thumb up his ass.
