    GPA, GPA...

Thanks, see ya, go make 100mil selling shoes and leave us to wallow in mediocrity. No hard feelings (hardly any feelings).

I'm happy to see him leave. And any shoe company dumb enough to give him a 100 mil endorsement deal deserves exactly what they are getting.

If he turns out to be a superstar $100 million will be well spent. Underarmor shoe sales went up by 350% after they signed Steph Curry away from Nike. Business Insider says that if the Warriors win the title and Curry is MVP again it will be worth $14 BILLION to Underarmor.

100 mill aint jack shit. it was a lot more when tiger signed his when he turned pro. not so much now. 100 mill is an average contract over a few years.

ben simmons personality is sorta like tim duncans. his game is much less aggressive but his offensive skills are much better. he will do fine. just not 250 mill marketable.

If he gets $100 mil instead of 250 I don't think his lifestyle will suffer

Why all the hate on Ben? Before he ever set foot on campus everybody knew he was one and done. Nobody thought there would be a sophomore year, much less a junior or senior season. No, he isn't Magic or LeBron but he has played like one of the best players in the NCAA. It's not his fault that the team's record sucks. If he has any faults it's that he is too unselfish with the basketball. That might not be taking over games like we all hoped but if nothing else its a good character trait.

Simmons is a smart kid but he just isn't interested in the academics. If you knew that next year you would be starting your high paying real job regardless of whether you stayed in school or not would you have your nose in your English Lit book or would you spend that time in the gym working on your job skills; .ie jump shots, free throws, ect.?

Since he was forced to wait a year he could have spent it anywhere he wanted. Kentucky,North Carolina, Kansas or anywhere else. Kansas beat Oklahoma twice in very close games, once in triple OT. If Ben had been playing for Oklahoma would he have made a difference in those games? Quite possibly so. He probably will never come back and get his degree like Shaq did. He probably doesn't love LSU the way Shaq and us fans do. But I'll still be rooting for him to do well for whatever team drafts him

I'm frustrated but I don't really fault the kid. Just disappointed his stopover in Baton Rouge amounted in mostly jack shit. We got to see some nice individual play by Simmons, and that's about it. LSU isn't about one guy, and that's all Simmons and cJJ brought to the table this year.
