Well they never showed an angle that had the ball passing over his knees. Maybe they showed you a different replay. All I know is that when the catcher has to trap a ball in the dirt, it's called a ball.
wrong again. i clearly saw a replay that showed the ball passing above the knees. how can i see a different replay than everyone else? too many people here remove their purple and gold glasses. the umps/refs DON'T cheat against us. they are human and make bad calls now and again. so, are you saying the ball hit the ground before his glove? i know what i saw. i saw the ball pass above the knees. i don't know what else to say. you obviously won't budge and i sure as hell won't either because I know i'm right. so, keep believing what you want to. when i first saw the play, i thought it was a bad call, but after seeing the replay, i saw the ump make the correct call.
