Eh it's basketball, better to lose some games early, and hit your stride mid season. This team still needs to figure out how to play together, just make the tournament.
Quite surprising, I for one really thought JJ woulb be way better than this. Maybe he is like Brown, the better the players, the worse he did. Will never forget the Stanly Roberts, Shaq and Chris Jackson team making early exit from tournament.
i want to defend the basketball hires, but if basketball sucks this year the Alleva needs to go and somebody needs to decide if we still want to play sports at LSU. I just have a feeling that the message to be taken from Miles this weekend is that there isn't much admin appetite for competitive sports. We're going to be an Iowa (and not this year's Iowa).
Losing early seasn games to unranked opponents will lower their RPI to the point where they'll be lucky of they're on the bubble come tournament selection time
ive said this since last year, 2 words Johnny Jones he doesnt know how to use timeouts, doesnt know how to call plays out of time outs. his point guards are always out of control and not setting the tempo. He has the greatest recruiting class at LSU in 25 years and they are 3-3 losing to basically nobodies. he can recruit his ass off, but coaching basketball, well you see where we are now.
