Sunshine Pumper definition of Shit: Any opinion that is different or contrary to theirs.

I have the want to express an opinion without regards to whether or not you agree with my opinion and will continue unabated, especially so now that I know that yall MA's are disgusted.

I'm NOT a supporter of Les Miles the football coach. He's had his shot. Time to move on. He's getting over 4 million to keep the program at an Elite level and he's not doing that.

I don't like finishing in third place in the SEC West and getting spanked by Alabama every season. Don't like his archaic Offense. Don't like his dysfunctional QB's that can't throw a football. Don't like the yearly 2 or 3 game management fiascos every season.

Yeah, lets give him one more season to turn it around. That's just it, he's not getting paid to let it regress in the first place. It's been a steady regression since 21-0.

BTW, me and all my friends are LSU Alums. We've seen enough and ready for change at the top. If you don't like the whining, don't read this forum, and don't tell us all what to say and how to think. Different strokes for different folks!

    Have a nice day...................................

    Well that was strong.

Look, no one has been as anti les as I have but I can certainly see the point of the other side being "how many more ways can we say Les isn't getting it done" We all see it.

The problem is what else is there to talk about? Basketball? Oh wait... Recruiting went well...well, I mean there really isn't much else but lets see what next year brings. No need to get our britches all bunched up about it. Maybe we are lucky and things go better than expected.

True, but he also can't flunk the spring semester and then leave for the NBA without the university suffering the consequences.

If he's not in good academic standing when he leaves for the NBA, then LSU takes a big APR hit. Lose too many APR points and the NCAA bans you from the post season for a year.

Is Mr. Simmons taking his godfather to the NBA with him?

Not sure what that has to do with anything. The poster I replied to asked what difference did it make whether Simmons was going to class or not, sort of implying that it really didn't matter if he was ineligible for the spring semester since the basketball season would be over already.

I was simply pointing out that as far as the NCAA and LSU's APR is concerned, it makes a big difference whether or not he's going to class and matters a lot whether he's eligible/ineligible for the spring semester.

forgot to write wrt "No Heart" title.

I agree. its what can easily happen when you depend on too many freshmen. particularly when your "leader" is a Fr.

the roster is just a mess. the only two seniors are juco guys. and im worried that it may lose 4 top players ---simmons, Hornsby, blakeney and Q. if that happens you are looking at a 0-fer SEC season in '17.

Blakeney would be crazy to leave now. He just starting to play up to his potential and by the end of next season is possible a first round pick, but not now. Quarterman would just be a plain idiot. He is too inconsistent.

Quarterman probably wouldn't be drafted. Blakeney may go late second based on his potential but he could definitely be a lottery pick next year if he continues to improve.

I'm certainly not saying they should go, but its not like players haven't made dumb mistakes before (I'd guess at least half that leave early are bad decisions). If they hate school, and are frustrated by this season, and have mouths to feed, see no future for the team .....
