Surely he has been offered big time jobs before.

Was more of a "wish we had someone like that" of course I knew he won't leave there for this job.

He's been contacted by some pretty big names; AZ, TX, Stanford, UCLA, and a few others.

Basketball is a different animal when it comes to some of these "smaller schools." Just because a coach is moving to a bigger school, or a P5 school, doesn't mean his job is going to be any better. See Marshall at Wichita State.

The Koch brothers chip in to make the Wichita State job as lucrative as any.

It's because he is a foreigner. All the other one and dones have been American kids. Foreign players don't learn to be tough on the playgrounds of the inner cities. Simmons has some great skills but he is soft. If he had spent some time playing hoops in Harlem or the south side of Chicago or Watts he would be a hell of a lot better.

I'd take Buddy Hield over him 100 out of 100 times

If Simmons was on a team with a legit scorer like Heild it would be game over. Oh but with some coach other than Jones. Tim Quarterman was our scorer, and his game is more bipolar than a 1970's lineman with CTE

Johnny Jones will make an Elite 8 before Les Miles wins the West.
