I've been waiting to post this for several days. Thanks Brett for your hard work in bringing the site back online.

On other LSU boards, there have been several rumblings about some player attrition. Specifically, Justin Hamilton may go pro since he's graduated. There is a thread on
Anthony Hickey possibly transferring to WKU on the Hilltopper board. Also the LSU staff has apparently been trying hard to convince Johnny O'Bryant to stay.

Today Jacques Doucet of WAFB weighed in on Twitter.

Needless to say, the loss of any of these three players would spell certain doom for the LSU program next year and any two of these three SHOULD spell certain doom for Coach Trent Johnson's LSU tenure.

Sounds like wishful thinking by those Hilltoppers.

i heard a rumor that those exact rumors are nonsense. now i dunno which rumor to care about!

anyways it would certainly suck if any of that were true because they are finally getting a team together.

Per Jacques Doucet's Twitter, Hickey said at the banquet everyone is coming back, so take it FWIW.

If Hamilton had eyes on the NBA he would have declared by now. The deadline is the tenth. I think this is just Trent haters wanting something to gripe about.

That NCAA berth is well within reach now.

If Trent doesn't do a monster recruiting job, then his days at LSU will be numbered.

If you mean well out of reach, and are already numbered, then I agree with you.

Couldn't find a sarc emoticon in the new system. :D

Trent basically has a week to save his job with his recruits. We don't pick up at the very least 2/3 of Hammink, Coleman and Pelle, and he's done.

i didn't think he was ready. However, there may not be many true centers around ... maybe i'm missing something? he's a good player that could have benefited from another year.

either way, there goes next year's team and the farewell tour for Trent Johnson begins...
