Joe Lunardi does not even have is in the first 4 out and he has 8 SEC teams making it besides us. That was before the Vandy win. Definitely have to win out and probably make it to the semi finals of the tourney, maybe even the finals. A 22-12 record should get us in.
the Ducks are in the same boat, slim chance for the NCAAs, will be a pretty high seed in the NIT,.. be cool if they played LSU
Be cool if they played for the championship. Weren't the Ducks a final four team last year? What happened?
3 underclassmen left for the NBA,.. 3 others graduated, (2 to the NBA sorta),.. 1 retired,.. 2 transferred, (LSU got one of em). This year's team is basically all new,.. 10 players get minutes- 3 senior transfers, 1 soph and 6 frosh. two of the seniors have been a disappointment,.. the freshman are tremendously talented, but they'll play great for 10 minutes then stink it up for 10,.. and we've let a half dozen wins turn into losses down the stretch, been frustrating to watch. I'm staying patient though, the Ducks will be much better next year with ageing,.. and we have the nation's #2 recruiting class coming in,.. including NBA star Manute Bol's son,.. 7ft center, Bol Bol http://insider.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/classrankings
Interesting. LSU has the #3 class. I'll see you next early April in whatever city the final four is played. We can smoke a Bol.
Good story about Dale Brown's first team and a brawl during a Vandy matchup. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2018/02/the_strangest-ever_lsu_basketb.html
