    Tagging along with this theme...

    Last year, UNO was picked last in their second tier Southland conference. They won the conference, won the tournament and were the best team in Louisiana because they were the only team to qualify for March Madness.

    They have made a lot of hay at VCU with the underdog tag. the kids love to have bad press on the bulletin board.

    If you live in New Orleans...the UNO games are entertaining. Not many people go. I live nearby so I'm always going to all sorts of games...volleyball , baseball, basketball. The coaches and AD know me by name just because I show up. Blake Dean's cell number is in my phone. Lol

    That doesn't happen at LSU.

    He may end up being the greatest LSU basketball coach ever. If he can really get them to perform as a team...
