https://twitter.com/ComplexSports/status/1610786002343235584 brandon murray throwing down one of the harder dunks you will see in college. man we could use that guy. what an all around player he is. NBA scouts have to be noticing the power and athleticism of that atomic jam. like tari eason, murray is an all-rounder. a winner.
I don't hold a grudge against a player that is down in the depth chart that jumps into the portal. When a really talented player bolts into the portal like Max Johnson did, I get a pretty sour taste in my mouth and actively pull against them. But I don't really hold a grudge against the BB players from last year, that was a rough situation. Good to see them doing well.
That's a fair position. The NCAA could easily have dropped an anvil on the program (still might) and they would have been the guys hurt by that if they had stayed.
i dont have a problem with any player doing anything, including max johnson. he can go to school wherever he wants, as i did. i am pleased former LSU guys like aundre hyatt at rutgers (just beat #1 pudue) and brandon murray are playing well. although brandon murray is on a terrible team with a terrible coach, patrick ewing. murray followed kevin nickleberry. brandon murray will be be drafted. he is awesome.
some info in a mock draft i read, picks 56 and 57: 56. Memphis Grizzlies: Alex Fudge (Florida, SF/PF, Sophomore) Athleticism, 6'8" size and defensive playmaking create an intriguing foundation for Fudge, who's also 8-of-20 on threes and 21-of-23 on free throws. 57. Milwaukee Bucks: Eric Gaines (UAB, PG, Junior) Entering the year on breakout watch with a new team, elite athleticism and pesky defense, Gaines is starting to show signs of improving playmaking and shooting
Yeah their defense kept us out of the paint all night. I've also come to realize this team just doesn't shoot very well, especially at the rim. A lot like last years team.
