naz reid is behind two stars karl anthony towned AND rudy gobert. but those guys were a little baned up so naz got some minutes 28 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes pelicans, go get naz reid!
Pels have been bullied in the paint the last 3 games. By that I mean outrebounded at both ends of the floor. Jonas is not athletic enough and is foul prone. @Jmg, do you think Naz fixes the problem?
i dunno, maybe! naz is huge and skilled but isnt always a try-hard. i would sure like to find out if he could push folks around in the blender. i say trade jaxson hayes and a draft pick for him
going into the SEC season, there are reasons for mild confidence, and also some troubles. adam miller isnt shooting for shit. juice hill is a bricklayer. trae hannibal is aggro as shit but is often too small to finish at the rim. but the record is awesome and the one loss was a travesty. should be undefeated. cam hayes and derek fountain have taken the starting spots away from wilkinson and reed. this makes the team hugely better at ball handling. this team will need to basically never turn the ball over and be super efficient to win vs SEC talent. mcmahon wants to run on defensive rebounds, he wants quick baskets. then if there is no fast break chance, he wants to run a proper offense. i hope it works. defensive effort is good. wade let his talents play. if tari eason wants to take the rock to the rack, let him go. dont bother setting up the offense. that made sense when you have tari eason or trendon watford. this current team is gonna have to be very careful with the ball. and set up plays. the sec is incredible now, i think like 6 teams in the top 25. 3 in the top 10 (bama ark tn) scary.
