McMahon hasn’t put together a powerhouse yet; it does feel like LSU has some good pieces, but we’re tentative offensively and are hot/cold in defense. feels like middle of the pack in the sec is our ceiling.
i have been to every game. i would like to see more improvement finishing. fundamental to coach mcmahon's system is fast breaks on missed baskets defensive rebounds. he teaches them to run and take it to the rack on rebounds. and they do, they run it out. but they dont finish well. they dont make the right dump-off or finish the layup. hannibal seems to be able to get everything to the rim and then bounce the layup off the hoop. but a W is a W. you take it and like it and move forward.

there are two halves in the game. like so many times before, you are shrinking the sample size in order the be a critic. you ALWAYS do this. i mean literally dozens of times. they lost that game on a timing error.
