Clearly, you wear your purple shades at all times and that's okay too. The reality is WW is not a very good coach and it shows every time they play. All you have to do is watch the team play and it shows how poorly coached they are. It's not about just winning because LSU should win just about every game with the vast amount of talent they have. Against A&M, they struggled to make layups, mid-range shots, played horrible defense and settled for shooting threes all night like they always do. If you want to brag about LSU winning more games than any other SEC school the last three years when the league has been down, go ahead bud and cheer away.
Pretty impressive stat. Still feels like we aren’t living up to our potential offensively. I guess if we were better we might be undefeated right now.
Statistically, the average 3 point shooting night for LSU this year is 7 of 21 (33%). Last night, they were 6 of 13 (46%). They shot far less and far better.
injuries taking a toll, but the silver lining is important minutes for justice williams who should be playing in hs right now instead of the sec. Reid is way timid, and I think shareef gets some of those minutes… not excuses but it is what it is…. hopefully days works more inside than out when he gets back… I was pleased with the offensive rebounding and free throw shooting down the stretch. Tigers went 10/10 from the line when it counted most… Murray gaining more confidence, Gaines continues to grow…
the defense is historically good. its the best defense ever recorded by the kenpom defensive efficiency metric. its not just that you are wrong, its that you are the exact polar opposite of correct. its like if you are calling out shaq for being tiny and weak, or usain bolt for being a slowpoke. you are magnificently, horribly, mind-blowingly wrong
Reid doesn't look like he has ever played basketball before. I know this is like only his 4th year or so but damn, just rise up and go to the rim big boy. He definitely needs to gain weight. Shareef should get more minutes but he should be better at this point. Maybe more minutes will help him develop Fudge is okay in my opinion, I think we get what we need out of him. If he can contribute on the offensive side that is a plus.
Since there's not much else on TV tonight and it's 20 degrees, I'm going to watch the Lady Tigers play the Hogs in 20 minutes on the SEC channel.
