This team better get a whole lot better or they don't make it out of 32. If they only get a little better they don't make it to 32. They absolutely suck. Great defense but that is it and that will only take you so far. Defense - A Guards - F Fwd - C C - F A great defense with a lot of garbage. It is what it is.
And this is ALL on Wade! How in the fuck do you not recruit players that can shoot? You can teach them to play defense a lot easier than you can teach them to shoot. Playing defense in basketball is more of a want to than it is a skill.
Incorrect, before this year they didn't want to play defense. Take Russell Westbrook, one of the best defenders in the league...when he wants to be. Unlike offense, playing D in basketball is about hustle, its about effort, its about will and it takes a lot out of you especially if you expect to produce on the other end of the floor. That is why defense in the NBA is almost non-existent these days. At the end of the day, regardless of how good of defense you play you STILL have to put the ball in the basket and we absolutely suck at that. It is atrocious how bad we are. This team is going nowhere until that changes.
