I do remember him having one of LSU's best dunks ever. When they were closing out Bama to clinch the conference championship in '78 (I think), Ethan Martin made a steal and had an easy snowbird layup, but he suddenly stopped and handed off to Astronaut, who threw down one of the sickest windmill dunks I've ever seen.

Remember, we went into the Kentucky game shooting 31% from behind the arc. We went for 39% against UK, 44% against UT. Shooting like that combined with our defense, we should be able to compete with anyone.

i think as eason continues like this, putting up double doubles like its his job, the chances of him returning next year are moving to zero

for years i have been hearing people complain about the PMAC, which i love, and now will wade is really dropping comments about upgrades.

supposedly the architects are finalizing the proposals for upgrade.

i have been researching other teams arenas for years and thinking about it. people want to knock the PMAC down, play in the river center while the new one is being built. (i live a 4 minute walk from the river center, that would be great for me).

other people propose building a PMAC near alex box and tiger park, or knocking over bernie moore or the fieldhouse.

not being an architect, i assumed new construction is easier and cheaper than refurbish. i think i am wrong on that. and ga tech has done an amazing job turning an old style dome spaceship into a modern square-type arena with grand entryways and open concourses.

open concourses where you can still see the game from the concession stands seems to be the modern thing.

google the refurb of GA tech arena and see what they did there.

last week a friend of mine was in town and we had 4 pints of beer pregame, i had to piss endlessly at PMAC. its a disaster in the bathroom dept. newer stadiums have 900 urinals in every bathroom. PMAC seems to be made for 100 teetotalers that never pee. the bathroom nearest my seat doesnt even have urinals at all! its like 8 stalls! who is taking a shit in the PMAC? so now 15 fellas are in line to piss away their miller lites have to wait 12 mins for a stupid stall. terrible.

    Coach Fran Fraschilla:

Coaches: The “triple switch” is as common as brushing your teeth in Europe & the @NBA. It’s not as common in college & HS because many teams “switch out of convenience” & not as a weapon. Here’s a reason @lsubasketball has the country’s No.1 defense

    Sheldon Mickles @MicklesAdvocate

Will Wade says Xavier Pinson (knee) won’t play at Florida on Wednesday night, but could return for Arkansas game on Saturday. But, Wade emphasizes he doesn’t want to hurry Pinson back.

So a return at Alabama on Jan. 19 is more likely.
