no team has more SEC wins over the last 3 years. most consistent program in the SEC.

you said before "The goal is to continue improving"

good idea changing the goal. thats actually not the goal at all. its winning. like tonight.

Both are true but your brain is making you fight for every inch in this “conversation”.

incorrect, it is provably not true that the goal is to continue improving. if that was the goal it would be easiest to recruit retards that never touched a basketball, they would improve every time they practice.

again, without question, is it majestically and gloriously true that the goal is wins. not improvement.

please pay attention and understand how a counterexample render your point untrue. you could get worse all season, win the national title, and that is a rousing success. because the goal is winning. not improving.

if LSU plays worse every game from here on out and keeps winning, that is great. playing better, and improving, and losing, thats what losers consider victory. real victory is actual victory. wins.

you only want to invoke improvement as a metric because its a non-falsifiable subjective measure you can use for your darkness pumping negativity.

If we kept getting worse every game, losses would likely follow.

yes, which is bad because the goal is wins. not improvement.

i dont think you understand the concept of a counterexample. i showed that the goal is not improvement, but wins. a team could lose forever and improve and that is failure. because improvement is not the goal, winning is.

you are so negative you want to be critical of wins, so you invent a dumb metric of "improvement" and complain about it even as they beat an SEC powerhouse team. your claim is non-falsifiable, you could always claim they regressed in a win and bitch about it. its pointless. the goal is to win the game.

If you are a computer maybe this makes sense to you. Sounds like you were a big Miles fan. There were plenty. Turns out they were wrong. Your logic chip is flawed.

the miles thing is a deflection from my point. i dont really care or know enough about football to have a strong opinion. whoever is football coach is coach and so what. i like da hoopz. high flying dunks and whatnot. i have season tix to basketball and never miss a game, and i have been to 1 football game in 30 years (bama 2018)

correct that is how cogent logic works.

I get what martin is saying, the ultimate goal is to win the game and that is absolutely true. The other side is even with our great defense we are going to have to figure out how to score more points. Yes, we scored enough tonight but Ky helped with that. One of the things that comes with playing great defense is you pick up a lot of fouls and sometimes quickly and that is going to be an issue when we run into teams that can light it up. I think this is the "improve" angle and I 100% agree with it.

This team, as is, will go nowhere if we don't come up with a way to score more points. I don't care if that means get better from 3, figure out how to score from the paint, run better plays all of the above and some I didn't mention but it HAS to get better or we are slow dancing in a burning room (my favorite John Mayer song btw)

ou can win with a mediocre offense when the defense is one of the best ever measured

"LSU's adjusted defensive rating on Kenpom is down to 82.4, still No. 1 in the country. No. 2 is Tennessee at 85.7. For further context, a team has never finished the season better than a 84.1 since Kenpom started in 2002."

Defensive rating is points allowed per 100 possessions
