Looks like Days needs to be real familiar with the court to hit 3s; hoping he can catch fire some at home. I think AU was a bad match up. Hoping we gut one out vs UK. Wanna see Calipari cry.

I don’t know if it’s the rims, or the layout of the arena, or maybe just nerves, but it seems like Days can’t shoot away from home.

Watched the end of the ladies beating highly ranked UGA; glad to get the W but I can’t watch that sport. Makes the men look clean and composed.

we are told the womens game is better in terms of fundamentals etc. it isnt. its worse in every way, from catastrophic athleticism to poorly run offense, dumb players, shit shooting and passing. womens sports are terrible and at best they can hope to win world championships, which means they will be playing at the level of middle school males.

No doubt that American Gangster Will Wade will have the boys ready for the next game!

On the 3-point shot selection early against Auburn…

"We’re 294th in the country and three point percentage out of why the hell we take 13 threes in our first 18 shots. We missed some really good shots. I told the guys, I mean, we can't get much better than this. And if we're gonna win, we have to make these, especially on the road where we can just settle in and settle down. Now I was proud because it's hard to come back from 18-1 to get that thing to six, but we can't get down like that. We've usually given guys a lot of freedom and I've curtailed some of that.”

    On Justice Williams moving forward…

“Somebody told me ‘man coach, you dumped you dropped him in the deep end of the pool.’ I said ‘Damn. I dropped him in the middle of the ocean’, not the deep end of the pool, playing at Auburn. He is a really good player. I've told you guys that 100 times. With COVID and everything that's going on right now, we're gonna need all hands on deck. You know, we need our top 10 guys healthy and then we need, you know, eight or nine of them that can play every night. That's kind of the goal here moving forward because we're going to have to have guys miss games with injuries or COVID, although we all everybody in our programs boosted now but we're gonna need everybody and Justice played with tremendous poise. He should be a senior in high school right now and we played him at Auburn. It's not like we let him warm up against you know, Louisiana Monroe in the first game or something like that. You know, I mean, it was we dropped him right in the like I said in the middle of the ocean. I thought he did really well and he's earned more opportunities. But he studies and he's diligent.

I look at this and think, damn, we actually are a good 3-point shooting team. Then I look at the stat sheet and realize Wilkinson, Reid and Williams combined have just 25 attempts on the year.

yup i am trying to emphasize hope for the future that these guys might put up and make more shots. especially justice williams.

tyty washington is a guy i saw interviewed that loved wade, ended up at kentucky anyways. not sure why. he was highly ranked, and has been awesome. yunno who also highly ranked? justice williams. i think he might be the solution for some of the offensive woes. he can do alot of things on offense.

if you were to ask yourself, what does this team need? it would be a big athletic guard that can score and shoot the three. that is what williams is. very excited to see how he does.

need efton reid to be much more aggressive and bring it. no point being 7 feet if you are not gonna go hard on some fools.

at this pace i cant see 5 star reid being a one and done, which is good for the team i guess, but bad for jerrell colbert, who needs playing time.

next year 5 star julian philips is a guaranteed one and done, in the same way naz reid was. there was no chance he would be in town more than 8 months or so. still worked out fine for both parties, as he was awesome, and is about to make big dollars when he finishes his rookie deal.
