i remember one time i was watching a clip of WW coaching kids or something. and he was talking about when your player you are defending gets past you and is heading to the hoop. he said, get on your goddamn horse and chase that fucker, and when he lays it up "block that thing into the backboard!". and LSU does this all the time. gaines and fudge will follow you to the hoop and mash the ball into the backboard with their long wiry arms. its one of my favorite defensive plays, and LSU does it all the time. unless you dunk it, and hard, gaines or eason or fudge is gonna thump it off the backboard and block it. its emblematic of this team because that is an effort defense play for long athletes.
19 LSU (10-0) v LATECH (8-2) in Bossier City, 6PM CBS. https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_r...0bb8e7bc-5f81-11ec-9821-0f9090c6867c.amp.html I don’t recall from last year, but LATECH has a 6-7 275# bad ass named Kenny Lofton Jr, who played on U19 Team USA with Adam Miller (our injured star) and is on player of the year watchlists. LATECH has lost to #6 Bama (64-93) and NCST (81-90). None of their wins look like something to write home about. Common opponents: ULM (101-39 v 96-74) NWST (89-49 v 83-64)
josh leblanc is playing right now for UAB in the game before LSU on cbs. maybe he will have a buzzer beater winner
no worries, best player for LSU has not played yet, and they buried some lucky last second on the shot clock prayers. both teams are now bringin in 3 subs. no way theirs are as good as ours
