Wilkinson is a beast. Reid looks good in the post. Pinson is smooth. Gaines is quick. Eason is strong.
i think the most important thing going forward is that pinson, gaines, and murray shoot the 3. that would really make them a complete team. they can do most other things pretty well.
Pinson hit one from about 25 feet in the 2nd half, and either Eason or Murray hit one from nearly as long just before that. But the play of the game was Pinson's drive and dunk late in the game. He did about 5 or 6 consecutive hand switches on the dribble, a combination of crossovers and between the legs, and pretty much left his defender in a puddle at the free throw line when he was done.
Scott Long wrote that Wade said after the game that none of the 5 players will ejected will miss Friday's game.
well yeah it doesnt work that way in basketball. i think you need a couple flagrant 2s for that to happen. if i recall correctly.
i know i saw it, i was at the game and also watched it again later, and then listened to it. the reason the 5 are not out for next game is that coming off the bench is ejection and coming off the bench to fight is suspension. pinson has a weird release, i dont trust it. murrray was marketed to me by wade as a three level scorer, i hope thats true. else i see lots of gaines/pinson together, which surely lacks in shooting talent, but has plenty of other skills that may compensate. days has a quicker shot than i remember last year. man, that guy was amazing. hotter than a pistol.
