i am not sure wade is really unhappy, or he is just motivating his players. i would like to see efton reid get shitload more touches. same with murray. defense is surely the best in the SEC, but the offense looks a bit unsteady at times. last year there were guys who needed nothing other than the ball to create offense. this year may need more actual planning. last year you guys complained about disorganized streetball offense. you guys were clowns that dont know anything because they were playing a 5 out offense that created a zillion points and murdered people. they just had shit defense and no depth. this year is the exact opposite in almost every way. the one similarity is that both teams are excellent at the free throw line, which is good news.
i like to lookup what our former player transfers are doing. josh gray is playing quite a bit for south carolina. i saw he had a crazy athletic dunk for a huge guy, then at the end of the game he lost his shit and chucked a ball at an opponents head and was ejected. that dude is a head case. my impression of him was of a guy who is super big, pretty damn athletic, but is basically a goofy unserious nerd who doesnt care about basketball and only plays because he can. last i checked both james bishop and jalen cook were playing great. i am curious as to how seneca knight is doing, i will look that up. josh leblanc as well, although without looking i can guess he is playing awesome defense and disgraceful offense.
congrats to sunbelt player of the week charles manning https://www.al.com/sports/2021/11/south-alabamas-charles-manning-honored-by-sun-belt-conference.html
