First 30 point loss for Belmont since 2009. Thing I'm loving about this team is the defense. You can be hot or cold on offense, but defense is all about effort, so you can always have it.
i went to the game again, havent missed one yet. still think the sneaky headline for the season will be how awesome gaines is. also this team is what i said it was before the season. two way players everywhere. shutdown defenders everywhere you look, a truly unique squad of athletes that want to play defense hard. they beat belmont harder than they have been beat in like 19 years or something. again i expect gaines to compete for SEC player of the year next year, and to be drafted.
