the honest man does not make up things, and instead uses the quoting feature. can you show me where i said this? i may be the least sarcastic, most direct, fact based, quote using sincere person here. i avoid sarcasm purely because i want to argue with the other person's actual position, not a straw man i state with sarcasm, the way you do. you use sarcasm to protect yourself from taking an actual position, and arguing against things nobody said. again, its very interesting how i have argued you into a corner whereby you cant even define success as a program. it speaks to how desperate critics can be to cling on to their negativity. do you think the program is in trouble under wade, or can you name a coach you prefer to him? do you think the coach you might imagine you prefer, is not subject to the same sort of bad losses and season up-and-downs that this program is dealing with?
Jumping from criticism of WW to replacing WW is why I’m not interested in having a sincere discussion with you. You aren’t interested in having a sincere, 2-way, adult conversation.
this team is really mentally fatigued probably bc the general has been pressing bc the window is closing on them. i dont think its physical bc obviously they are in good enough shape. this team still hasnt found itself and the fun is gone. we need something positive to get them going.
thats true. you want to be critical and not defend your points. then i guess your les miles comparison is not very valid
Clearly you're a WW fan and that's fine, but it's apparent you know very little about the intricacies of basketball when it comes to coaching/teaching. Coaching does matter! Since WW has been at LSU, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the league has been down. The true Bluebloods, like Kentucky and Florida, have been down since his arrival and that has worked in his favor. How do you explain LSU entering the last two games as double-digit favorites and getting their rear ends handed to them. Let me guess....injuries! Every team goes through injuries, but that's where coaching comes into play. Just like WW just happened to announce more injuries today as his team gets ready to travel to Vandy on Saturday because he knows he's about to get outcoached and lose to a lesser opponent again. The reality is LSU started off 12-1 against a bunch of weaklings, but now find themselves in fifth place in the SEC with five other teams. In fact, there are only four teams with worse conference records, including Ole Miss who just spanked the Tigers! Is that what you call great coaching? Let me guess...injuries. If WW is this awesome coach you claim and coming to the end of his contract, why isn't Woodward scurrying around to get WW under a new contract? In fact, Woodward hasn't said one word about WW this season. I think Woodward's lack of action speaks volumes on its own.
so to be clear your contention is the wade's SEC record should be used as a measure of success? just want to be sure of that before we analyze the data. also can you describe what would constitute a successful program for LSU? can you descrbe what metrics you think define success? wins maybe? players advancing on to the NBA? good recruiting classes? attendance? taking players like eason and increasing their NBA stock? we need to be able to define the metrics for success before we analyze the data on these metrics, before we shrink sample sizes and use nebulous non-falsifiable claims as criticisms. and i ask again, would you trade wade for the coach you claim is superior, kermit davis? if so dont you worry about losing recruits, as wade has a far better record recruiting high level talent? you seem to be desperately afraid to address any of the questions, or codify (put into writing) the metrics that define success.
what are you implying? that there are no injuries and wade is lying? perhaps you are not a big fan like i am. i have known about these injuries for a while and it isnt today he first mentioned them.
