    I would have prefered Lange last night and Poche tonight, but these guys ain't 14year olds, so there's that.

    7 k's. He is far from done. He seemed much more over the zone this inning. Fastball was working and the breaking ball is not as erratic. He is the kind of kid that can take lumps and get back on cruise control.

    This aggie on the bump though, beating the shit out of the zone.

    MLB pitchers usually pitch on 4 days rest in a 5 man rotation. In the old days they used a 4an rotation and pitcher had 3 days rest.

    I've seen a number of articles on Japan pitchers throwing crazy numbers. Always wondered why we pull guys when they get close too 100.

    Poche threw on shortet rest because his fast ball tops out at 87-88 and his style doesn't put as much streds on his arm as Lange's mid 90's fastball. That plus Lange had some fatigue problems 2 weeks ago.
