I'm not sure if they're cheating, but I do know that their consistency seems to get poorer and poorer every game I see. Are they getting too old? Aren't there any younger guys who want to call games? I don't know if they need better training or what.
When Matt Clark took that big swing and missed, I thought that LSU may have lost its chance to surge back into the game. The ninth is crucial for every single ball to fall into the hole. LSU needs to get out of the 8th first, though.
It's getting worse every year in sports. We used the excuse that the players were getting faster and stronger but nobody seems to be adjusting by finding more athletic officials. They also don't take action when guys screw up. What's really sad is when a guy completely blows a call and the league or NCAA responds a day or two later by saying it was a correct call. I don't think they care as long as the money continues to flow. I just feel for the players and fans who have to deal with it.
Helenihi leads off, should be a pinch hitter here line drive, caught into left one out LSU :tigbas: 4 UNC: 8
