This is really a great team win. SEC Champions.
Regional baseball back at The Box.
A new team single season record of 20 wins in a row and 16 SEC wins in a row.
Not to mention a new team record of 4 SEC weekend sweeps in a row and they had to come from behind in 16 games during this run and all 4 games in the SEC Tournament. WOW!!!

Considering we were picked to be 5th in the division when the season began – were 11th in the league just 5 weeks ago and no players picked on the SEC 1st or 2nd teams at the end of the regular season, there is no other way to describe it but “team”.

This group of young men does not give up. They are a real credit to themselves, the coaches and LSU. All of this and the team is young. Several of the starters are true freshmen.

I seem to remember Coach PM saying something about how nice it would be to send the old Alex Box Stadium out in style – looks like he was not kidding.

Finally --- thanks to Okie, Pod Katt and all of you who take time to do the pbp for those of us who don't live in the TV or radio coverage area.

Simply Amazing what this team has done. All the close finishes and come from behinds. Between baseball and football this season, we are on the brink of losing a few tiger fans to Heart attacks. It's JUST like the football season.

20 in a row to win the SEC championship. 30 in a row wins the big one!!
